Simon and Rachel are both veterans of the events industry having worked for over 40 years (combined) within the world of events. They first met at ‘Rhubarb’ before collaborating again at Zafferano and now leading the regeneration of R food.

Rachel’s passion is ensuring that each event is planned and executed with meticulous precision. Rachel is sick of the bias within the industry and so many companies flooding their social media with only the events that tick boxes towards furthering their gains. ALL events are equal and clients deserve to be treated as such.

Simon’s passion and focus being on the food element and a love of creating seasonal dishes sourced from local suppliers and focusing on utlising ‘the whole of an item’. Why is so much food wasted? If you want a chicken main course then we can utilise the rest of the bird for other elements of the evening.. a great talking point! Having been fortunate enough to cook with some of Britain’s best farmers and produce and believes that the skill in cooking is finding the best produce when its at its seasonal best, cooking and serving simple unfussy dishes.

With Simon’s expertise in the kitchen and intrinsic knowledge of food trends, sustainability and a passion for working with local produce and Rachel’s vision and logistical prowess we belief we are a force to be reckoned with. (Along with always bringing delicious taster treats to every meeting! You can’t plan events on an empty stomach!)
